This Allures 45 "Catweazle" has been built and equipped to sail the world's oceans. Launched in 2010, 2 private owners since then, and is now exclusively for sale with DBY Boat Sales. The aluminium hull and deck were fabricated by the renowned yard of Garcia Yachts in France, before the final build by Allures Yachting in Cherbourg, France.

She is a very rare and sought-after find in the Southern hemisphere. She is designed for short-handed sailing, with all lines leading back to the cockpit.

With the centreboard raised she draws just 1m, so you can explore in shallow waters, or allow her to dry out where she will happily sit on her two rudders and beaching skeg.

Downwind sailing with the board fully retracted eliminates the chance of broaching, even with a large following sea.

The vast tankage, solar panels and Watt & Sea hydrogenerator, and 5kw diesel generator give the owners the autonomy that is the trademark of a quality performance cruiser.

The aluminium deck is covered with "Marine Deck", which provides a high grip surface that does not get toe-toastingly hot, and is maintenance free. The GRP coachroof and moulded cockpit has rounded corners and comfortable seating. The high coamings forward make this a well protected space.

The chart table has both forward and aft facing seating, and is raised up to take advantage of the large coach roof windows, and gives the owner another useable space whether as a dinette, a games table, or for dedicated navigation. There is a step down to the linear galley, increasing head room to 6'11".

Secure hand holds are everywhere, providing a safe ergonomic galley space, complete with two large fridges, a freezer and a brand new stove.
